Park in the left side parking lot and take the path up to the picnic shelter (labeled Longstreet). Find the Poligon sticker on one of the vertical posts. With that post with the sticker on it on your right, look back toward the parking lot past the grill for a large tree down to the right. Go around to the parking lot side of the tree and look for an opening at the base. The letterbox is concealed behind a piece of bark.
