This is a collection of 4 boxes. (...for now!) It should take about 1 hour. Are you ready, kids? (Sing along if you know the tune)
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?
Absorbent and yellow and porous is he
If nautical nonsense be something you wish
Then drop on the deck and flop like a fish...
Ready?
AHHHH...
Today's undersea adventure takes us to a world famous tropical paradise full of amazing exotic marine life. What is our destination? Bikini Bottom. Who shall we see? Why our old friend Mr. Spongebob Squarepants, of course. What will we do there? Eat lots of delicious Krabby Patties!
Our adventure today begins in Glastonbury, CT at JB Williams Park. You won't need scuba gear, but you might have to watch for muddy areas.
-From Route 2E, take Exit 9 (Neipsic Rd.) Turn left and travel about 1 mile. The park is on the left. As you approach the parking area, notice the softball field.
-From Route 2W, take exit for route 83 in Glastonbury. Turn right at the end of the off-ramp. Drive about 1.1 miles to Neipsic Road on the left. (You will pass a post office) Turn left and continue to the "T" intersection. Turn left there... It is still called Neipsic Rd. You will eventually come to the park on the right.
Clues: From the parking lot follow the main trail into the woods. Shortly you will see an info board and sign directing you to "lower pond." Turn right here. As you come to the pond, notice a green hut on the left side. Go right, however, keeping the pond to your left. Cross another bridge and immediately climb the stairs to the right. Turn left at the next trail intersection. Follow it through the forest. Cross another bridge. Notice that you are traveling parallel to a stream. From the end of the bridge, take 40 steps to a tree on the left with a red blaze on it. From here, go 40 steps at 120 degrees to a large pine, then 12 steps at 130 degrees to find the home of a good friend.
Return to the trail and continue on. You will soon pass a dead barkless tree standing to the left. Step over a couple of logs, watching out for some seasonal muck. At the fork turn onto the path bearing 90 degrees. Continue straight, passing a 3-ft section without any bark. There is also a white stone next to it. Take 12 steps at 170 degrees to find one of Spongebob's neighbors.
AHHHHH...Now continue on the trail, watching out for muddy spots. Eventually you come to another small pond, featuring some picnic tables and campfire pit. Travel along keeping the pond to your left. Cross over a cement bridge. Veer to the left, entering a grassy area. With your back to the pond, follow a wide dirt trail up a hill. You will soon (very soon) come to a fork featuring a brown "comfort station". Turn Right. Walk past the brown hut. Stop at a large fallen log on the right side of the path. Look left up the hill and spot a very large stump at 320 degrees. Go there. Nearby is a tree that snapped several feet above the ground, Go to the spot where it broke off to find Spongebob's boss Krusty Krab.
Return to the trail. Continue on. Soon you pass a bench on the right and a campfire area on the left. At a 4-way intersection cross the blue trail and continue straight. After about 5 minutes turn left at the chain link fence. As you go, you will suddenly become aware that the fence turns green. At that exact spot, walk off-trail at 160 degrees to a fallen tree and find a certain "chum" of Spongebob.
Return to the path, follow the fence, and return to your starting point. I hope you enjoyed today's aquatic adventure.
