~~~11/23/09 This box has been confirmed missing. It will not be replaced.~~~
~~10/11/06 This box has been dried and spruced up a bit and is now back in commission.~~
~THIS BOX HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY PULLED FOR MAINTENANCE-THANKS QUEEN B. I WILL POST WHEN IT IS REPLACED~
This box is an easy little walk.
Directions:
From the intersection of Route 87 and Route 207 in the center of Lebanon go East on Route 207 heading towards Franklin. You will pass the Lebanon Elementary School on your right. After that you will go to the bottom of the hill and see Trumbull Cemetary on your left. Pull in here and park.
Clues:
Look back up the road towards the direction you just came from. Notice a large red & white sign, placed by the town, on the opposite side of the road. This is just a little ways back up the hill. Go to this sign. PLEASE be very careful crossing this busy road. When you get to the sign you will see a wonderful Sycamore off to the left a short distance. There is a path here that takes you right by this great tree. The trail can be extremely muddy at times and even has quite a few briars. Luckily you only go a few feet on this path. As soon as you go by this tree go to the back side of it (away from the trail). There is a hollow branch leaning against the tree and some vines. Move the rock away from it and the Pot O' Gold awaits you. Stamp in and re-hide, placing the rock back in front of the branch.
We hope you enjoyed the journey and the great carving by son/brother.
