It's a small-ish walk for a small-ish box, in a small-ish park, planted by a small-ish kid. (He didn't want me to use the word little!)
This one is in Ballard Park in Ridgefield (on Rt. 35.....Main Street for you locals).
Park in the CVS parking lot and head into the park on Lion's Lane.
Follow the path to a T, and take a right onto the gravel path.
At the Y, bear left.
Keep the gazebo on your right as you travel around the circle and follow the path toward the big white planter.
While you are on the path with the planter on the left and the gazebo behind you, look to your right. See a huge tree with roots just begging for a letterbox? We did, too! Peek around on the far side, the small-ish box is hidden in the roots by a small-ish flat rock.
Parking will probably take longer than finding, but hey, it's an adventure for small-ish people! :)
