Driving Directions to the trailhead:
This box is located in Arbor Hills Nature Preserve on Parker Blvd. in Plano. It is just a short distance west of the Plano Presbyterian Hospital and the Dallas North Tollway. Drive to the Nature Preserve and park as close to the Reserved Disability spaces as possible. You will observe the covered picnic pavilions off to the left of the parking area and a sidewalk running along in front of the parking area.
To the box:
Take the cement trail in front of the parking lot going east (right) from the handicap parking spaces. The trail will immediately split left away from the parking lot and head north down a hill. You will very quickly come to a Y where you will stay to the left. The woods will be on your left and a row of cedars will line the right of the path just past the Y. Very soon you will pass through a small rock canyon. A few steps later, you will see a man-made stone retaining wall on your right surrounding a tree.
Continue down the cement path until the cement path splits again. Take the fork to the right. The cement path will make a circle after a few steps. Go Counter-Clockwise around the circle a few steps where you will see a sign that says FOOT TRAFFIC ONLY. You will follow this dirt path. From the foot traffic sign, go 49 steps. Look to your right. About 2 steps off the path is a large white rock.
From the rock, you will walk into the woods about 13 steps where you will see a SPOR next to a tree that is bent over very close to the ground. The letterbox is between the rock and the tree.
