Bananagrams is a word game invented by Abraham Nathanson wherein lettered tiles are used to arrange a grid of connected words faster than one's opponents. The same number of tiles are drawn by each player from the "bunch" of 144 tiles and then arranged into connected crossword-style words. When a player uses up all of his tiles, he calls out "Peel", and each player must draw a new tile from the pool of remaining tiles and incorporate it into their words. The name "Bananagrams" is a play on the word anagrams, as one must often rearrange the words already formed in order to allow newly-drawn tiles to be placed into their grid. Play continues until there are not enough tiles left in the bunch for everyone to draw, at which point the first player to place all tiles on their grid is declared the winner if all words are valid upon inspection. I have created a version of this game involving 20 letters that must be placed in the grid shown below to make valid words, not abbreviations, proper names or slang. I have placed some of the letters in the grid to help get you started but you must submit the correct solution to reveal the letterbox clues. Hopefully it won't drive you bananas! If you come up with a solution that is not mine, email me and I will verify. Also, the grid is designed to look correct on IE Browsers, but may look a little off on other ones due to differences in pixel positions.
