Take Loop 256 around Palestine until you get to Link Street, which is also 3309. Turn north and continue until you see signs pointing left for Davey Dogwood Park. Turn left into the park and at first jct bear right on one-way road with sign for Trail. At next jct stay right and go by open field on left. At next jct bear right on one-way road #2 and go to the large picnic pavillion in the center and park here.
Walk across the picnic area to a bridge. Cross the bridge, turn left, and follow the trail. The trail runs parallel to the stream you crossed over.
Continue on the trail until it comes to a T. There wil be a small concrete bridge to the left that leads back to the road. You should turn right and follow the trail a short distance to a Y.
Take the trail to the left.
From the Y, take 74 steps and look to your right. There is a rather long tree down that leads from the trail to a stump. Make your way to the other end of the downed tree. (You may have to go a few steps back down the trail in order to get there).
The box is nestled underneath the side of the downed tree a few inches from the end.
Please replace as found and contact me regarding the condition of this box. There are several boxes to enjoy in this park.
