During this loop hike along the Dale Ball Trails you will encounter scenic panoramas of the sweeping plains, surrounding peaks and adobe homes of America's oldest town.
To the trailhead: see the clue for El Piño Solo letterbox.
To the letterbox: Once you've stamped in at El Piño Solo, proceed along the trail to the next intersection.
Go right fourteen steps to a trio of spiky denizens of the desert. Directly behind the first of these is a Juniper tree. Do not leave the trail here but continue on around the next switchback until you are standing beside this tree, casa del tesoro pequeño. Move a lichen encrusted rock.
