Hitchin' A Ride is located in the neighborhood of Coles Crossing, just off Barker Cypress and Hwy 290, at the nature trail across the street from the community center. Their is a nice park here, with soccer fields and a long path for hiking and jogging, as well as children's playground.
Directions:
Going toward Austin on Hwy 290, exit Barker Cypress. Go right on Barker Cypress, through light at Jarvis, and take the 1st right into parking area for Coles Crossing Community Center, and park at far end of lot.
To the Mini-box:
Walk back to the front of the parking lot and take the sidewalk back to the street of Jarvis. Across the street and to the left is the nature trail in the trees (you may be able to see the signs). Cross over and go left until you enter the green gate. From the CAUTION sign, go right 82 steps to a tree on your left with green on the bottom. (it's very near the edge of the trail). Behind this tree, about 6 steps, is a long, skinny log. The box is behind the log near the right end.
Please rehide well and let me know the status of the box.
