We sent this box to Team Rabbit to be planted for the 2005 Great Lakes Letterbox Gathering, "Mo' Boxin' In Motown." Their clues were so appropriate that we decided to leave it in place as a permanent box.
Past a place where one can watch the rushing water, find a paved path heading north. Follow it over and under a bridge (at the same time!). Sit and think (or just sit) for a moment. See that path heading towards the river? It starts out squishy, but quickly gets drier. Soon, you’ll pass between two living legends. Keep your eyes peeled for a huge brown “bombed-out” tree on the left. You’ll find the “purse” at its base on the far side.
4/19/2006 UPDATE - Box reported damaged; log book ruined; stamp OK. Will try to replace later this summer.
6/24/2006 UPDATE - Could not find box. Retiring clues.
