This is a series of 10 letterboxes that was placed for the Michigan Spring FLING gathering on May 6. The boxes will remain in place only for the month of May. After that, they’ll be removed and may be planted elsewhere permanently.
“May Days” celebrates wacky holidays, historic events, and other observations and occasions that occur throughout the month. Some of these boxes are located in groups along a single trail; some can be found en route to the various permanent letterboxes in the park. It may be worthwhile to read through the clues ahead of time and make use of the park map as you plan your adventures.
All of the boxes in this series have been removed as of June 14, 2006.
Several of these boxes were planted permanently near Mayfield, Wisconsin in 2009.
