*** Part of my Games Series ***
Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, .5 mile RT)
Status: alive
Risk is a strategic game for 2 to 6 players originally released in 1957. It is played on a board depicting a political map of the Earth, divided into forty-two territories grouped into six continents. The object of the game is world domination by elimination of all other players. Players control armies with which they attempt to capture territories by rolling dice to determine outcomes of battles, with defenders winning ties. More armies are obtained through various means, but mainly by collecting a set of 3 cards: Soldier, Cannon and Horseman. The Soldier Card is located in Houston Arboretum, but to see the clues you must win 5 battles. Good luck, and be sure to collect my other 2 cards.
Directions:
From Loop 610 in Houston go east on Woodway Drive for a short distance and turn right into the Houston Arboretum. Park by the Nature Center.
