The Lucky Charms Trail LbNA #14149

CLUES: The New short version with new location for box 2. Park at the kiosk on Constitution Blvd and enter the trail by crossing over a small bridge. At first blazed tree on right look right to a large rooty birch and look behind for some Charms. Continue on the path and take the reblazed Blue/White path up the hill to the right. Trail will split, take the new Blue blaze trail right. Stay on Blue. You'll come to a 2-sister with a stone wall behind, at a non-blazed left turn heading off to the power lines. Look behind the tree to the right of the sister under rocks for Lucky.



THE STORY: Ignore all below, use short version above. All info needed to find boxes are above, the below story is preserved for the original clues only.

Lucky the Leprechaun was walking threw the woods one day
carrying his magic box of charms. he rested by a tree and
fell asleep. when he woke up it was dark, he rushed
home. when he got home, he realized his box of charms was
gone. he Lost it somewhere in the woods. Lucky is very
sad. Can you help Lucky find his box of charms??
If you find Lucky's charm box, He will be so very happy,
and he just might reward you with a gift.

From the silver metal gate: Follow the trail. within seconds you will see another trail to the Left. IGNORE that trail and continue to the right. Very shortly you will come to another trail towards the Left Leading down hill, Once again IGNORE that trail and continue following the trail right,-- into the woods. Once you have entered the woods you will be on the white trail. Soon you will come to another trail on your Left. Pass that and continue on the trail. Keep following the Yellow/White trail all the way around the lake over the bridge and dam spillway, there will be a 90 degree right turn, keep following the yellow/white trail all the way to the roadway.(You are getting closer in finding Lucky's box of charms.) As you soon approch the roadway, you will come to the end of the trail. There will be a very small boardwalk over a very small stream. At this point you might be getting even closer to Lucky's box of charms. Anyway, what you do now is: STOP, TURN AROUND and re-trace your steps back up the trail. Notice a tree that has a sign on it that reads: START/FINISH From this tree, Lucky probably Lost his charm box about 15 steps right of the tree, somewhere near the base of a three Legged tree. When you find his charm box, stamp and Re-hide. NOW, Retrace your steps back to the white trail. Follow the trail, Right, up hill-----
