On State HWY 27 between Alexandria and Hoffman (about 14 miles from Alexandrai)turn south on Douglas County HWY 103. In 1 1/2 miles turn left into the Kensington Runestone Park. Drive through the entrance gate. Before you get to the top where the flags are you will see a marker on the left where the Runestone was found. In that area there is a large pine tree, there is where you will find the Viking resting in the shade.
