We adopted this box on 11/9/11. It was originally planted by Kamp Kats on 7/10/04. The clues are still perfect, except there are now many more than five boxes in Wells State Park. During camping season this is a very visible spot, so please be discreet and rehide well.

This is a fee area during the summer season. During the off season, you can just park and hike in.

ORIGINAL CLUE

This is the first of five boxes placed within Wells State Park. For directions to this wonderful forest go to WWW.Massparks.org. When you enter the park you will see the rangers station, you can pick up a map here- it will help you! Walk on the road towards the left, you will pass the Interpretive Center on your left. If it's open stop in for info on the flora and fauna surrounding you! Continue walking until you see an old concrete water spout on the right side of the road. Facing the spout look to your left. See the stone wall? In the middle of the wall is a square stone. Look behind for the box!
