Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Microbox: 75 yards

Status of Microbox: Alive and Well on 8/25/2008

The “Home in the Northwest” microbox is located in the town of Waterton, in Waterton-Glacier NP, Canada. It is near the Prince of Wales Hotel, a great place to stay, or just have “high tea”.
Directions and clues are not my best. Had a 40+ pound pack on my back, so did the best I could.

Directions:
Get to Waterton. Turn left into hotel driveway, and try to park for short time.

To the Microbox:
From the hotel, take the gravel road west down toward the water tower. As the road curves toward this tower, locate the cement sewar drain on your left. Now find the trail going downhill on the left soon after this drain. Go down 5 steps, turn left and walk to the large tree. The box is on the uphill side of the base, with a rock on top.
