Be sure to plan time to enjoy BEAUTIFUL Lake Keystone and Walnut Creek State Park when you look for this box! We planted these in the time of year that everything should be getting dry, but thanks to a wet month, it is still BEAUTIFUL! However, watch carefully for poison ivy!

Clues:
From Tulsa take US highway 412/64 wes to the Prue exit (#209). Go SOUTH on New Prue Road until you come to Walnut Creek State Park. Continue on the main road until you see the sign for the RV dump station, turn right on the road just before it. The "Hitching Post Campground" will be on your left. Almost immediately on your left will be a "hitching post" big enough for the Trojan Horse surrounded by 6 information stations. Park on the side of the road here. Walk to the stations and enjoy the information presented about Oklahoma flora and fauna. While reading about the butterflies, look straight ahead and see the trail that you will take. Walk under the huge pines and enjoy the smell. Follow the trail S/SE and at the Y, go right. Be sure to watch for deer - we saw 9 while planting this box. As you come in view of the lake, there will be several large, hollow logs. Keep going up the hill, you will spy a large hollow stump off the trail to the left at approximately 245 degrees.

Closer inspection will show that it is burned. At its base, under leaves and a smaller, fallen log, you will find what you seek.

As always, use care when moving leaves and brush to avoid an encounter with an unfriendly resident.
