***THIS BOX HAS BEEN PULLED 8/8/05 AS A GEOCACHER HIJACKED MY SPOT AND PLANTED THEIR GEOCACHE. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO FIND A GEOCACHE YOU CAN FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS!**

MAY PLANT IN A NEW LOCATION IN THE NEAR FUTURE ... WILL POST WHEN I DO!

This box is located in Francis William Bird Park in Walpole. This park is part of the Trustees of the Reservations, and admisssion is free. It is family friendly, just watch out for goose poop! There are quite a few letterboxes here. For more info on the park check out www.ttor.org.

General Directions: Cross Route 1 at the Walpole Mall onto Coney St. At the end of Coney St. take a right onto Old Post Rd. Bear left at Island for Wolcott St. You will see the park on your left. Take your first left onto Rhodes Ave. Park in the lot to the right of the church.

Enter the park through the gate at the far end of the parking lot. Follow dirt path over cement bridge. There is a pond to your right. Take the path on the right. Follow the brick road with the pond on your right. The path will come to a fork at a bench where another path meets the one you are on. Take the new path to the right. At the second fork of the path there is a brick bridge. Take the path to the left (do not go over brick bridge). Follow the brick road. There will be a pool on your right and the bricks will end. Follow the path into the woods! Stay on the path into the woods until you come to a wooden bridge on your right, take the right and go over the bridge. On the far side of the bridge, take approx. 8 steps. On your right will be a large tree with a smaller tree shooting off of it towards the path. On the northern side of the tree, Loose Goose is hiding inside the hollow of this tree under some bark.

Please rehide the box as well as (if not better than) you found it!

Please email me and let me know how the Loose Goose is doing!
