STATUS: Alive and well as of 3/7/05!

To get to Kelly Park:
Exit Kelly-Elliot from Interstate 20 and go north.
Drive through light at Arkansas Lane and proceed past Dunn Elementary to bottom of hill.
Turn right on Creekside Drive.
Drive approx. .2 miles to Kelley Park sign on right. Park there on right side of street.
Clues:
Begin at end of sidewalk at park entrance facing northeast and calibrate your paces with mine.(1 pace=2 steps) I walk 14 paces to complete 9 squares of sidewalk.(Beware of "silver monster" on left!) Proceed until "T" intersection.
Turn right and cross "Big Rusty Spidey Bridge".
Proceed after bridge until you have crossed two "Baby Bridges".
Continue to first "Square Meal" table on right.
Go to first tree across sidewalk from table at a bearing of 175 deg.
(not too close to table!-it is evil and will mess with your compass!)
Go to opposite side of tree and proceed to edge of forest at a bearing of 180 deg. for 18 paces.
Look for tree surrounded by vines about 8 feet in from edge of forest. The letterbox is held between a vine and the tree at about 6 feet up. Beware of ragweed(achoo!), thorns(ouch!), and spider webs(ewwww!). Have fun!
