NOTES:
Most of this Rail-Trail is in second-growth timber with deciduous trees. This makes it cool in the summer and allows for views during the winter. Part of this trail was opened in 1978, yet it does not receive overly much amounts of traffic. The deciduous growth ought to put on a nice show of color in the fall, and then open up many views of the valley below. Bring a snack, and take time to relax and enjoy the view of the falls.

TO THE BOX:
Cross the street and begin down the path. When you reach the 4 way intersection (appears to be a driveway of some sort), continue straight thru. After a little bit the pavement breaks into a wide gravel path for about 40 paces, then reverts back to pavement (I don't know why). Next you'll pass a couple of benches facing the valley (perhaps a nice view in the winter?). Keep going along the path until you have reached the end. Here you will find 3 benches, a porta-potty, trash can, and a view of Snoqualmie Falls.

From the trash can, backtrack down the trail for 53 paces (2 steps = 1 pace). On your right, you'll see a multi-trunk tree. The box is hidden behind the ferns at it's base, under some leaves.
