Update:
7/20/2005 ~ Replaced and reloacted

Info:

Oregon's Highway 20 cuts across the middle of the state. My family uses it when we travel to Ontario from Albany and back. We typically stop in Bend and Burns for food and gas. Since we have small children, ideal spots to get rid of car wiggles are parks along the way. There is a park in between Burns and Hines that we have used a lot and I think any weary travelers would enjoy it as well.

Clues:

As you travel through Burns on HWY 20, you will pass a park to the North that is surrounded by trees. It is kind of hard to miss because of the twin back-to-back GIANT slides that are the center piece to this fun play area. (There is also a flying saucer.) From the platform atop the slides, looking NW, a bathroom and covered sign area are visible. (The sign deatils Harney County and gives a little historical perspective.) Between the info and potty is a rather naughty tree. On the parkinglot side of the tree directly West) stands a small red guy surrounded by 4 dead-beats. Across the street from them is a bulding with a large cinderblock wall. In a nook in the NW corner of the building is the prize. It is under some rocks, under a pallett.

Let me know if the box needs moving or repairs. It looks like a well used park, so be as inconspicuous as you can be. (We also found quite a bit of obsidian in the vacant lot next door.)
