Whoa, Jack, Whoa! I think we finally made it.

A letterboxer contacted me about these falls way back when I planted my first box. She said “Campbell Falls were her favorite, which one was mine?” So here we are. Let’s go slow down this steep trail to the bottom of the falls and take a look around.

Looking good so far, I see the waterfalls that way and the fire pit over there, Let’s get the coffee going. It’s really nice down here, Jack. Don’t you think? I just like the sound of water falling.

Look there’s another stream coming in through that gorge over there just past the fire pit. Wow! look up at those large hemlocks hanging off that cliff. You gotta see this. It must be 50 feet high.

Well Jack, let’s put this box under those three rocks next to the stream. If you walk past the fire pit you will reach a large flat-faced boulder just before the gorge. Turn around and walk back six steps and look to the left, to three rocks which are surrounded by baby hemlock and baby birch trees right by this stream.

Well now, I’m impressed with these waterfalls.
