"The Ry Box"
Patuxent Ponds Park

This box has been replaced as of 4-5-06!

A short walk on mostly hard packed dirt. Good for younger children and those who don't have to climb a mountain to enjoy it. No more than .5 mile round trip. There are a few thorns and a lot of frogs.

Clues
After parking follow the beaten path (counterclockwise) around the first pond. When you come to the second pond look for the largest island. Continue counterclockwise around the second pond. As your journey progresses you'll discover another large island hiding behind the first. Keep walking around the pond until the islands line up. Now look over your right shoulder. Follow that path and look for the "monster" tree (think scales). Within this tree you'll discover The Ry Box. Named after the (former) youngest member of 6 Bears, The Ry Box is the first in a series of four boxes. Please be sure to leave the box as you find it (with it's "handle" attached!)
Hope you enjoy the park and the stamp; Ry picked it out himself. Please contact us regarding the condition of the box and its contents and how you liked it. -Mama and Papa Bear
