I am shaken and thrown for fun and money
To find the answer to the brainteaser, you must find a letterbox. This letterbox is located in the Olde Towne area of Portsmouth.
Take the Elizabeth River Ferry to the North Landing. Take a left when you reach the brick walkway towards the visitor's center. After finding box #3 in this series, and checking out the visitor's center, continue walking along the water toward the Renaissance Hotel. Stay on the seawall walkway keeping the water on your left until you come to the Portsmouth Lightship Museum on your right. This is a very interesting museum. From Labor Day to Memorial Day it is open on sat 10-4 and sun 1-5. Walk down the brick path next to the ship. When the "M" is on your left, the letterbox will be on your right. It is buried under the bushes on your right. Please rehide well, as they do landscape this area.
You can continue down the seawall to the High St landing to catch the ferry back, or if time permits, walk up High St to shop or dine.
Hope you enjoyed Olde Towne!
Ferry info can be found at hrtransit.org
If you prefer to drive, take I-264 through the downtown tunnel. Take the first exit and take Crawford St to the visitor's center.
