This letterbox is located on Umbagog Lake. It is reachable by boat, canoe or Kayak. It is in Leonard Pond. It can be found by locating the northeast side of the eagle nest. Locate camp sites R28 and R29.

The island that R29 is on will be on your right. Go between the two islands. Follow along and watch for Eagles, Osprey, moose and lots more wildlife. The Island gets very narrow as it slopes out in front of you . A birch tree straight ahead has come down due to some hungry beavers. The stump is a good place to attach a rope and climb ashore. A clump of six maples stands behind. From there go to the right, spot a bunch of smaller maples ten or so. At the base is another birch tree clipped by beavers and some logs , look under and you will find an osprey.
Look for pine point if you have time
I hope you have a great day on the lake
