RETIRED
Directions: Pequitside Farm
I-93/128 exit 2A to Route 138 S, R on Washington Street, L on Pleasant Street, entrance to farm ahead R. After the main entrance for the farm, there is a turn about parking area with picnic tables. This is a nice place to park.

After parking in this turn about, enter the park past the picnic tables. To your left you will see the Tilden House across the field. Commonly known as The Little Red House. Walk over to the house.

Welcome to the Tilden House, a place where time and history has passed for almost 300 years. Built fifty years before the American Revolution, this homestead has survived so that we can learn about another time and place in our history.

After walking around the Tilden House...start your quest for the Little Red House Letterbox at the back door of the Tilden House. There is a large field that you just crossed to get to the house. Many days there are soccer games going on here. Walk up the left side of this field up the hill. When you reach the fence at the top of the hill...turn left. The playground will be on your right. In front of you will be a large bush. Stay to the left of this bush.

In front of you will be the community gardens. Mmmm..tomatoes, cucumbers, even grapes! At the gardens turn left. You are now faced with the choice of a path on the right or a path on the left. Go to the left. At the Y intersection...take another left.

Now you will be entering a more wooded section of the farm. Follow the path and then you will once again come to a Y intersection. At this Y intersection take the path to the right. There will be large rocks on your left. Up a little further on your right you will see
two trees. The one on the left looks like a Y leaning to the left.
These trees are approximately ten steps in from the path. The Little Red House Letterbox is located under rocks and twigs at the base of this Y shaped tree.

Please rehide carefully...if not better than you first found it.
