This box is part of a series of letterboxes highlighting some of the unique features of various city parks in Urbana. An Urbana Park District guide might be helpful (or visit their website at www.prairienet.org/upd). Please bring your own inkpad and pen.
This park was orginally named Woodland Park. Start near the largest pavilion and follow the sidewalk towards the playground. Though the playground is handicapped accessible, I doubt this letterbox is. Pass the train and the boat and head towards the baseball diamond. Staying outside the fence, follow the fence from home to third base. At the end of the fence look north. You will see a group of 4 Vs or maybe 2 Vs and a slightly askew W. In the center V, on the north side, is the fourth letterbox in this series.
