Alive and well 14 MAR 2005.
This microbox is located in Shepherd Park at Cheshire and Dunsmere, in Houston, TX. Park on Dunsmere near the playground. Start at the wooden Shepherd Park sign. Stand on the back side of the sign and face toward the park at a bearing of 100 degrees (magnetic), then walk 8 paces to the large pine tree. Just beyond this pine tree is a walking trail. Follow this trail to the right and count the pine trees between the trail and the outside edge of the park, starting with the first large one. After you pass the ninth pine tree on your right, you will see a small triple-trunked tree to your right. From this tree, walk 54 paces at a bearing of 350 degrees (magnetic) to a double-trunked tree. This tree will be hard to see from the triple-trunked tree. The microbox is located in the hollow of one of the trunks, beneath sticks and leaves. Please be discreet, and hide the microbox well after stamping in.
