This microbox is in Woodland Park, located at Houston and Parkview in Houston, TX. Park in the parking lot by the community center.
From the parking lot, walk around the building to the southeast corner. You will see a large oak tree at the junction of the sidewalks. Just beyond this oak tree is an opening in the greenery. Go through this opening and walk 13 paces to a fallen log across the trail. Step over this log and go downhill at 190 degrees (magnetic) for 19 paces. Stop and look to your left. There are two seven-foot tall stumps about 12 paces off the trail at 90 degrees. While still on the trail, look between these two stumps. Beyond them, about 9 paces, is a twelve-foot tall dead white tree trunk. The microbox is located at the base of this tree trunk under a piece of concrete. Please be discreet, and hide the microbox well after stamping in.
