Driveby box on Western Divide Highway

Heading south 7/10 of a mile from the dirt entrance road to Dome Rock.
Park at the large turn out on the North East side of the road.
At the north end of this turnout locate the Manzanita bush near the edge of the Highway and turnout. Starting at the first Pine/Fir tree (it’s a double tree) next to the Manzanita bush count pine/fir trees along the immediate perimeter of the turnout until you get to the 6th tree which is near a pointed embedded rock. The tiny box is between the cut off stumps and directly behind the tree.

If you are taking a photo of Dome Rock at this Overlook, the stamp is a carved image of what you see.

When researching our clues please be aware that when previous searchers list “ATTEMPTED” on the clue sheets it may reflect more on their abilities as finders than indicate whether the box is viable or not. We do monitor our clues and boxes pretty well and appreciate the notes written to us by those that find or attempt our letterboxes.
