How to Find Frodo’s Voyage
Directions:
Take route 128 north to route 127 in Gloucester. At the lights, take a left on Eastern Avenue heading towards Rockport. As you come into town, route 127 will turn left onto Railroad Ave. Do not turn left. Continue straight into town on Broadway. Then turn right onto Mt. Pleasent St. Take the second street on the left, Norwood Ave. Turn left on Atlantic Ave. There are a few parking spaces along the right side of the road on the shoulder.

(Note: the place names in the clues are not real places, but have been modified to fit the theme of the story.)

Frodo's Voyage
Walk downhill from the parking spot until you see a sign, which says Public Foot Path. That is the start of the trail. Follow the narrow paved trail uphill through the Old Forest. Stay on the path and watch out for Orcs. Continue through a small clearing into the forest again.

The trail ends at the Grey Havens, a rocky area overlooking the sea. Head east to the top of the rocks.

Head northeast. You will see a bench. On the bench is written, “True beauty can be enjoyed by all, rich or poor – it is free.” If you are lucky, you will see the white ships that took Frodo.

After you have stopped staring in wonder, turn around and head southwest over the large rocks until you find 2 small rocks in some clumps of low brush with the writings of the ring. You will notice a path to your left. Take that path, crossing rocks until you come to a small Ent (tree) growing amidst the rocks. Walk around the Ent and there beneath it look. Frodo has left you something.

Once you have finished examining the treasure, please hide it well in the spot where it was before.

Do not lose your way on your return. Don't forget that Orcs still hide in the wood.
