This is an easy walk along a well maintained path.
Find the city named in honor of the Civil War general known as the "Rock of Chickamauga". Enter the city PARK fronted by the water TOWER and the cannons. Go right at the first stop sign. Pass by the armory and the building where the old soldiers live. Turn left at the next stop sign. At the next stop right flank the young soldiers (do not mess with the soldiers or their toys). Park by the Landmark Tree trail next to the bench.
Go past the first fork. At the next fork look closely at the trail sign and head in the direction of the old fort ruins. An old battery wall lies roughly E-W. The Old Fort stamp lies at the bottom of the W end of the wall next to the tree. Please rehide carefully.
This trail is also home to the Bluebird stamp.
Please email if you find it.
