Fall Foliage series # 6 The Sycamore

Follow the signs to the Grand Canyon Viewing area, off of Rt.6 Named for a man with the initials L. H. Once there view the awesome canyon. Take the Overlook Trail fairly flat and only .6 mile round trip. At the .1 mile you'll see an incinerator bear right here and follow the path down the root steps to the wood rail fence. round the corner and rest on the bench. look at Pine creek below but don't fall. While sitting look off to your right. See the trail hehind the rail? Sneek over there to a birch who's gone down. What you seek is nestled inside the circular opening at the top of the stump covered by a rock. This area is heavily traveled (it was the day we were there) so be carefull. You may need to use the bench to sit while other groups pass you by. Please rehide carefull. ************* First finder please send report. how do you like the new container? Is it holding up well? A marker should be provided for coloring the stamp. enjoy
