08/10/08-This box, originally planted by Catpawz2004, has been adopted by The Duck Ducks with a nod to Catpawz for their contribution to letterboxing in Northeast Texas.

Directions to the Forest Park box start at the Oak Creek box, but it can be easily found from Highway 69 (business) in Greenville.

Within Forest Park Cemetary, there is a beautiful bas relief sculpture in the Meditation Garden, depicting "Peace in the World" and five free-standing doves, by Santa Fe artist Kirk Tatom. The cemetary is open daily from dawn to dusk.

Directions to Forest Park:

From Oak Creek Park, turn right onto Jack Finney Blvd./State Road 1570 and stay on this until you have to turn right on Business 69. Go to the main entrance.

Directions to the Letterbox:

At the "Y" in the road, stay to the right. At the 2nd intersection, turn left. Park in front of the Meditation Garden. Take the brick path in either direction to the only bench with a stone walkway. Sit on the side of the bench farthest from the dove. Reach under the vines near the base of the bench.
