Route 27 Pembroke, Veteran's Commemorative Town Forest (next to Pembroke Middle School).

Follow the blue trail (the main trail) into the forest. At the fork in the trail, take the center path (middle school will be to your left)..this goes down a steep hill towards the water.

At the bottom of the hill, follow the trail to the right, you will see a sign on the tree from the conservation commission stating that ATV's are not allowed.

At the next fork, stay to the left. Continue around on this trail to the left as is curves towards the water.

At the clearing there is a bench. Sit on the bench facing the water. Enjoy the view.

Continue back on the same trail. At the first bend, notice five trees growing out of one trunk to the left of the path. On the other side of the path, there are two oak trees, with exposed roots, on the top of the slope. Continue for 105 paces (yes, we're serious) until you approach a tree with two signs.

To the right is a fallen tree. There are two large pines also on the right. There is a large stone on the slope of this slight hill. Behind the stone is the letterbox.

This box came up missing - originally placed 10/31/2004 it was replaced on July 11, 2006 and again replaced on August 27, 2007.
