Prindle Insurance Agency Letterbox
The Prindle Insurance Agency has protected the many and diverse insurance needs of Tri-state residents, home owners, farm owners and businesses for over fifty eight years. We were founded in 1944 by Stuart Prindle. Stuart E. Prindle 12/9/09 - 10/15/01, retired in 1974. A licensed Florida agent, Stuart was a graduate of local schools and the Storrs Agricultural College. He built the Prindle Insurance Agency primarily through all local organizational contacts to that which we are today, a $ 3,000,000 Agency. After three years of active duty in the Navy, Barclay Prindle joined his father at PIA in 1961. He then took the helm in 1974. Barclay has maintained a hands-on, grass roots approach in the day to day running of the agency. Barclay also brings his boundless enthusiasm and energies into local politics and community activities. In addition, he is an avid Western History buff. Please feel free to come in and meet the staff. We pride ourselves in providing hands-on, local, professional service to our many satisfied customers. As a matter of fact, the Governor has proclaimed October 17 as National PIA Day! We represent several fine carriers who enjoy excellent ratings on a national, regional and state basis. Our expert knowledge of this area's unique marketplace (Metro NY and Tri-State) enables us to provide our insured's with the highest quality coverage's at the most competitive and reasonable rates available. We provide all aspects of insurance, including: country home, city home, auto, contractors, business, farm, life, health, estate, long term care and group plans.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From the Clock Tower in Sharon, CT at the junction of route 41 /343, Go North on 41, (follow the blue Hospital signs) and take your 1st left onto West Main Street. On your right, at #22 West Main Street you’ll see PRINDLE INSURANCE AGENCY . (You can park in lot next to fire station)

Facing front of building at Prindle Insurance Agency, go to right side. Walk to first bay window and look to right side of window for small pile of rocks. Under a small pile of rocks find “Prindle Insurance Agency letterbox” Feel free to take the box to big porch to stamp into the logbook. And if it is Mon. through Friday, stop in for a free wall calendar as a bonus!
