4/17/2006 Roger's Wayside is going to be turned into a BMX bike track, if I remember correctly. It looks as if they are beginning to work on the project so I retired this letterbox. Twenty people stamped up in our log book:)
Maybe someday I can place another somewhere in this park.
8-16-05 Back in July we found out the second letterbox is missing. At this time we have decided to just change this to a one letterbox find.

You'll find a little bit of Thanksgiving hidden here at Rogers Wayside. A tiny reminder to enjoy this season of colorful leaves, thankful hearts, and God's bounty toward us.

DIRECTIONS
Find the Welcome to Silverton sign at the Westfield St. and W. Main junction. Head SW out of town on Cascade Hwy. Travel .8 miles. On the East side of the highway you will catch a glimpse of The Oregon Garden, followed by the Marion County Public Works, follwed by Rogers Wayside.

There is one letterbox hidden in the park.

LETTERBOX CLUES
Find one whiter than the rest
To start here I thought would be best
Count down another 50
They really are the key
The one closest to the fourth power pole
You have reached your goal
Today's your lucky day
Now you can be on your way
Happy Thanksgiving!

Please be discreet when stamping up and hide the box as well or better than you found it. Thanks.
