Originally planted by The Mixon Family and adopted in December 2010 by 2hearts1.

**UPDATE: We are proud for the opportunity to adopt this box. We have done maintenance on it so it has a new logbook & has been cleaned up. This one has been around since 2004!

DIRECTIONS: This letterbox is placed in a very small and unknown park in southeast Eugene. This park is located at the end of Canyon Drive, a short gravel road. This park looks like the yard of a home, but is a public park, so feel free to walk in it. To get to Canyon Drive, follow West Amazon to the very end, turn left onto Martin St. Go about a block and park on Martin at Canyon. This involves a very short walk of about a block, but includes grass that can be wet. CLUES: Stand on the north side of the fire hydrant that is located on the corner of Canyon and Martin. Face south, look down the gravel road and look for the “V” tree. Walk to the “V” tree. Stand on the north side of the “V” tree and look through it to the south for the “W” tree (three trunks.) Walk to the “W” tree and look south to find the next tree that lines up with the “V” and “W” trees. Walk south to this tree. Look at the base for a hollow behind a large rock, leaves & debris. (Please replace the rock & debris for camouflage, but not too obvious.) Have fun, The Mixon Family (& 2hearts1)

Note: The City just cut down the V tree :( We have been told that the box is still easy to find without it. If anyone has trouble let me know and we'll adjust the clues
