This is my first box. I had a blast thinking this up. Hopefully it is not too hard. There is a bit of walking but it has some nice architecture (hint, hint) along the way.

This town is rich in history of one family in particular. When I was in sixth grade (11 years ago) my teacher was big on all the town's history and he told us a lot including the legend of the blue mist. He even took us to his gravestone. Here is where you will find the first letterbox. But first you must figure out the town.

Park your car at the old station where the children now play and walk towards one of the four H.H. Richardson creations. After passing this other station and one of Richardson's creations (hint), you will be facing two sisters at the end of the street, take a left towards the other two. At the top of the hill take a right towards the house of worship where this town's most affluent family attended services. In the back there is the family's burial plot. Once behind the church take a right up the driveway.

HINT!!! Read the legend carfully to figure out the persons name.

Legend has it that one of the sons of this family died in a plane crash. His mother had asked him to wait till morning to come home because of the fog. At the moment of his death his mother saw a mist in the form of her son in his aviator (hint you will need) suit. Legend has it that to this day college students see this same mist around halloween walking the campus because the college sits where they had lived. Find his gravestone. The dates on it are 1905 - 1932 and there is a significant symbol carved on it.

Once you have found it, look up the hill. Climb the hugh rock form. Turn back around to face the gravestone. There is an oak tree between you and the gravestone. Align yourself with the tree and take three steps to the left. There is a little indentation in the rock. It is hidden here.

Please rehide carefully as the box just fits.

(MISSING)
Box number 2 - Old Past Time (I think this one is easy).

You can either walk or go back and get your car, but you must start back at the church if you get your car.

Exit the church and take a right past Queset House. You are heading for the three remaining H.H. Richardsons. Across from two of his works in the middle is a war memorial. Go through the hole to its left. You should be facing an old school which is now an apartment building. Head up the hill.

If you are walking you can take the first left (street is a one way) to the end.

If you are driving, you have to take the second left (first legal left turn) after the USA fence. Take a left at the V. Park at gate.

Walk through the gate. Go Home. Go first. Walk to the green bench in right field. Sit. Stand up and take three to five paces. Turn right and walk to the end. It is against the fence hidden under some leaves. There was a small tree near by (unsure of type).

I choose this spot for many reasons. When I was little, my sister, friend, and I would pretend my dad was the Bionic Man when he was pushing us on the swings. When I was older, we had field day here; and I graduated here. For many years my mom, dad, husband and I would watch my brother play ball here. My brother also maintained the park for many years including helping in the installation of the kids equipment. It is a great place that every town should have because it is for all ages.

Please return boxes. Please let me know if they are missing or damaged.

Enjoy.
