update 10-6-08: Box has been temporarily pulled since hiding place has been compromised by tree trimming.
==========================================================
Part of the Metra Rail Letterbox Crawl (Highlands station)
Microbox; no stamp pad. Suggested color: pink
Be discreet...potentially very public area with lots of pedestrian, car, and train traffic.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The title of this box refers to the event that changed my life. No, not finding my first letterbox, though that falls not far behind! The event I refer to is the birth of my daughter at Hinsdale Hospital.
There’s not much going on at the Highlands Station on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe commuter rail line except for the hospital, and somehow I don’t think they’d be too keen on the idea of a Letterbox located on their property! However, they do have a pretty unique bridge nearby (I was considering calling this box “One Lane Wonder”) which can take you to the site of this box.
Please contact me to obtain the rest of the clues.
