From north of Richmond, take 95 south to the Boulevard Avenue exit.
At the traffic light, take a left and stay on this road until you see signs for Bryan Park. The park will be on your left, about 1 ½ miles.

From south of Richmond, take 95 north to the Westbrook/Hermitage exit, bearing right and then turning right at the light onto Hermitage Road. The park entrance is on the left just after you turn onto Hermitage Road.

For those familiar with Richmond, Joseph Bryan Park is located at Bellevue Avenue and Hermitage Road in the City's north side. Enjoy three picnic shelters, world famous Azalea Gardens, tennis courts, tot lot, soccer fields, wooded areas, lake for fishing and open space.

Once you enter the park, take no turns, just follow the road down a hill, over a creek and then up the hill again staying to the right after you cross the creek. Follow signs to Shelter #1 and park next to Shelter #1. Some landmarks to look for are the play area and tennis courts.

1. From Shelter #1, take the paved road that is 240 degrees south west. Follow this road down a hill and look for a path to the right.
2. The path to the right will have a small brown and white sign, Jordan's Branch Trail, follow this path into the woods.
3. Cross a small footbridge and then very shortly afterwards, notice a Mackenut Hickory tree to your right.
4. At the fork, go right.
5. At the next fork, follow the path that is 320 degrees.
6. At the next intersection, go west at 270 degrees.
7. At the next intersection, go south at 180 degrees.
8. At the four way intersection, go right.
9. After a little while, notice the large Tulip Tree on your right.
10. Very shortly afterwards, notice a medium size double-trunk tree behind some small holly trees on your left.
11. From the base of the double trunk tree, face 140 degrees southeast and walk 13 paces.
12. There, at the base of a tree, you will find the Jordan's Branch Trail letterbox, please rehide it in the same spot!

Hope you have fun finding this one.
