The Montour Trail is a rails-to-trails project. That is, it is being built on the abandoned grades of old coal hauling railroads. Today, the trail is used for recreation, which includes bicycling among other outdoor activities. Your task is to find a BICYCLIST. You'll most likely see many bicyclists on the Montour Trail, but the one you need to find is inside a very small box!
That box is located on the Findlay Township portion of the Montour Trail, buried partially under a rock. The rock is large. (Don't worry, if you are in the correct place, you can't miss it.) The rock is located just outside the eastern opening of the Enlow Tunnel. The closest mile marker is mile 7. If you stand on the trail, facing the rock, the tunnel will be on your right. The box is buried under the back of the rock, on the left. It is buried in the dirt and wedged under the rock, so be prepared to do some digging. When returning the box to its hiding place, be sure to bury it so that it is well concealed.
Happy hunting!

Note: I checked on this letterbox on 4-16-06 and found it to be in very good condition.

Note: I checked on this box on Memorial Day, 5-28-07. It was not returned properly to its hiding place. And the water-proof box was obviously not closed tightly, nor were the plastic bags that I use to cover the box and each individual component inside the box. Unfortunately everything inside the box was extremely water-logged. The sign in book, which was the original book from 2004 (!!!) was totally ruined. The ink stamp was ruined. The pen was ruined. If you can not take the time to replace the items as you find them, then don't take the time to search for the letterbox and sign the log book at all. It is important to replace things so that the next letterboxer can find things in excellent condition just as the person before them did. Please think of those who will be looking for the letterbox after you!

I have removed the letterbox to clean the box and replace the book, stamp, pen, etc. There was a traveler inside the box. The sign in book for the traveler was a bit damp, but otherwise okay. The stamp for the traveler was mixed with my stuff, not with the traveler. I will be sure to place the traveler stamp with the traveler book, and put that back in the letterbox along with all the clean, new stuff.
Please check back before searching to be sure I replaced the box. I hope to do it in the next week or so. Thanks.
