To get to Stone Road from Rt. 6 take Jerome Ave. to the end, then take a left onto George Washington Tpke. Travel on George Washington Tpke. to a stop sign. Go straight through the stop sign. (There will be a "No Outlet" sign.) Go about 200 yards and fork left onto Stone Road.
Travel down Stone Road (approx 1/4 mile)and park in the first clearing on the right. You will see a Green Gate.(It is on the same side you parked your car.) Go around the gate and follow the path uphill. You will now see an old foundation on your left, followed by an old chimney as you continue up the path. Go up to the chimney and put your back to the opening where the fire would be. Looking forward, in the distance you will see two twin white birch trees. Walk to them. Once you get to them, look right and you will see an old stump. The Stone Road Star is hidden there!!!
