The Crowin' 'bout the Railroad RR letterbox is located in the Rusk unit of the Rusk and Palestine State Parks. These state parks units are joined by the Texas State Railroad State Park which makes runs with operational steam engines between the parks.
Rusk State Park Entrance Fee required: $2.00 Adults; $1.00 Seniors; No Charge - Children
If you wish to ride the train, refer to the Texas Parks website for more information about dates and costs. During certain months, the trains only run on the weekend.

Directions: Rusk is located about 170 miles north of Houston. The Rusk State Park is 3 miles west of Rusk off US Highway 84.
