Wright Winter

This is a limited engagement box – To be pulled this spring sometime.

The more it snows
(Tiddly Pom)
The more it goes
(Tiddly Pom)
The more it goes
(Tiddly Pom)
On snowing.

And nobody knows
(Tiddly Pom)
How cold my toes
(Tiddly Pom)
How cold my toes

Are growing.

Lucky for you your toes won’t get too cold, maybe. Enter the Forest Preserve off of Everett Rd. Park facing the pond. You will begin by heading towards the playground. Brrr…. Too cold to swing! That’s for sure. Keep going around the pond. You’ll go over a little bridge. Do not go to the island. Unless you want to, because it’s a cute little island, but then go back and go over the other bridge that will take you around to the other side of the pond. Hey, there’s your car! You can wave at it from here. Now, there are two ways to go. The first will take you into the woods, the other will take you around the pond some more and back to your car. You’ll know because you’ll see a three-trunked tree standing there by the pond. Head into the woods. The trail here gets snowy. You may even see ski tracks, as I did. Follow the trail til you see a large tree that the trail must curve around. The tree is a big V, with a nice hollow spot in the bottom that would be good for a box, if it wasn’t standing right there in the trail where just anyone can see. Stand right next to the tree, on the trail, on the right side of the tree. Now look to your right. See the even bigger tree shaped like an even bigger V? (it isn’t in there, just wanted to make sure you had the right tree.) Look a little bit more, see the two downed trees lying roughly parallel to each other footed by two snags? Go there. (About 25 steps.) The base of the horizontal tree farther from the trail has the prize.
