CLUES-
Exit Florida's turnpike at Southern Blvd.Go west, following signs to Lion Country Safari KOA Kampground Securaty gate, bear left past the office and store,Down the Safari Circle and into the parking lot near the Laundry/Restroom/Showers. Park and walk around the north side of the building, continue and past the basketball court and volleyball courts on the north side, go down the service road.
Check out the wildlife. Look for tracks in the savannah-like wilderness.
Just past the powerlines,you come to a clearing. The Trail dosen't end there! Take another trail toward the left side to get around the fallen trees. Go past a smashed up shed on your right. Look for the fallen fence. There is a group of sable palms in front of you wih a long pine tree growing at the far side.Follow the path around the left side.Find the box at the base of the pine tree.
