From I-40, take Exit 273 to 54W towards Chapel Hill. Go a few miles, you will drive under the overpass and going towards the UNC Campus. On the right you will see UNC Visitors Lot. Park there. From the Visitor's Lot, make a right and walk on the sidewalk along South Road, past the Carolina Friends Early School. Make a right onto Country Club Rd. The UNC-Chapel Hill cemetary is on your left. Cross the street called Gimghoul Rd. Down that street is an old haunted castle which you can discover after you find the treasure, if you wish. After crossing the street, the Center for Dramatic Art will be on your left, and past that, Cobb Residence Hall. On your right you will come across picnic tables and gravel. Walk towards the picnic tables between the far right picnic table and the 2 middle picnic tables, towards the back of the clearing. You will see a leaning oak tree on the right at the beginning of the trail.

On the trail you will pass a large rock and fallen trees on the left. Continue as the path turns downhill. On the left you will see a fallen tree archway, covering the entrance to another pathway. Step over the logs and onto the new path. Walk for approximately 50 paces and as the new path curves to the right you will see a large fallen tree on your left, with roots facing you. You will find your treasure under a medium sized rock within the roots. Stamp your book with the stamp provided and then use your stamp to stamp the provided book. Don't forget to return it to the original position and hide well!

If you would like to further explore the trails around the university, head back to the first path and just continue on and don't be afraid to get "lost." Happy Hunting!

If you have any problems or suggestions for finding this, let me know, as it is my first letterbox placement!
