SNOGIRL HAS BEEN REMOVED since the tree is no longer there!!
Dale Park in historic Mariemont, Ohio
In the block that includes Dale Park there is the Lich Gate, a cemetery adjacent to the community church that has the gravesites of many of the original citizens of this area (way before Mariemont became Mary Emery’s vision of a planned community based on an English village), the Mariemont Middle School and the family statuary group. It is at the family statuary group where you will start your hunt.
Take a little tour around this area. Say hi to “Ruby and Bob” and “Peter and Mary.” There is even a marker stating “Dale Park Bicentennial Restoration, May 31, 1976.” Find the other labeled bench. Sit down and take a little rest. Enjoy the area. Look immediately to your left. About 7 paces from the bench is a tree that is now a stump. This stump should be of interest to you. Look on the far NE side but don’t fall down the hill! Sno Girl is hidden at the base of the tree under a rock.
Please cover carefully with the rock and leaves. This is a popular area, especially after a snowfall! This becomes the Mariemont sled hill!
Please contact the placer when you find Sno Girl.
