This is also a hand-carved stamp hidden in a clear & white container, deep within a little scratchy shrub. When this box is replaced, please be sure to do so carefully; University grounds are well manicured and any visible, non-organic material will surely be considered "litter" boxing!

The following link will serve our communicational needs: www.ohiou.edu/athens/parking/.

Once you have found a viable place to park (you may want to try #118, but don't forget street parking and #37 located downtown), please locate Alden Library on the map.

Go to the front of Alden Library and find what some have deemed "The American Woman." What qualities does she possess to carry such a title? What does this particular work of art suggest about our culture? How do we view women?

After you have pondered a bit in this quite square, locate a black and white fire hydrant nearby. In a smallish bush, a bit north of the hydrant, you will find QAE, a stamp I use to commemorate my participation with the local journal _Quarter After Eight_, produced yearly in nearby Ellis Hall.
