Status of Microbox: ALive and Well on 6/5/2005
The "Your Box is Served" microbox is located in Nob Hill Park, just off the Sam Houston Tollway on the west side (north of I-10). This park has a nice walking/jogging trail around it, with picnic tables, playground and open green spaces.
Directions:
From the Tollway, exit Hammerly and go East. Turn right on Shadowdale and follow around curves. Turn left on Chatterton Dr, then another quick left on Shadowdale Dr.(you should have passed park already, but need to make this loop to get to parking. Go to end, turn right on Timberlock and go to end. Park near the end of the park (near Conrad Sauer street)at the last enterance into the park.
To the Microbox:
Enter the park through the metal fence opening. Turn right on the path, and go 52 steps. Walk right (off the path) to the 1st pine tree. Now go south at 160 degrees for 14 steps to a large tree, surrounded on the west side by brush. Micro is at southwest base of the pine tree, covered with leaves and sticks. Please re-cover it well.
